The International Tourism Safety Association (ITSA) is offering a FREE trip to two people living outside the United States of America to attend the 25th International Tourism Safety Conference!
The conference will be held April 15-18, 2018 at the Treasure Island Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
Write an essay containing 500 words on what tourism security means to your country. Your essay is designed for tourism practitioners, and although welcome, it should not be an academic paper.
Please explain in 500 words how you are promoting the International Tourism Safety Conference in Las Vegas to people living in your country.
Submit essays in English (additional consideration will be provided to those individuals who may not use English as their first language)
Have a valid passport and VISA if selected as a winner of the essay contest
ITSA will cover the winner’s such expenses as:
One round trip economy class (coach) airfare to/from your place of residence to Las Vegas, Nevada, USA
Hotel room accommodations at Treasure Island Hotel and Casino from Saturday through Thursday (April 14-19, 2018)
Transportation to/from McCarran International Airport to Treasure Island Hotel and Casino
Conference related meals

Compose a 500 word essay explaining the role tourism security plays in your community, locale, city, country or business.
Essays must be written in English and emailed to Sherry Jones at or Jerri Gray at no later than March 1, 2017. We will take into account if you are or are not from an English speaking country.
The International Tourism Safety Association will cover your expenses for economy class airfare to/from Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, hotel accommodations for the nights of June 10 through June 13, plus conference registration fees and all conference meals.
We will also provide you with an invitation letter that may assist you with obtaining your VISA or passport for purposes of attending this event.
Winner of the essay contest will be responsible for all fees/costs associated with obtaining your VISA,
passport or any personal or convenience items.
